    • Location: Minnesota
    • Fish: Crappie
    • Tackle: Do-it Jigs
    • Here is a picture to be put on the Braggin' Board or on facebook. The picture is of my son Jason Haskin, his son Clayton and their friend Jim Wilmot. The crappies were caught on a recent family trip to Minnesota in July. They were using tackle created from Do-it molds. They were using Round Head jigs and Chub jigs with an attached jig spinner and Colorado blade. They were tipped with a 2 1/2 - 3" Gulp minnow or twister tail. Light tackle and great Do-it tackle made this trip a success allowing them to bring home some fantastic crappies in the 13 to 16" range. Thanks for a great product!

    • Tackle: Hot lips jig
    • Striped Bass. Began making 5 oz Hot Lip jigs in the Spring of 2011. I paint my jigs with Black or Red powder paint. I tie the jigs with Class D nylon thread. I use a 2 part epoxy to keep the thread wrap on tight. I use a black or red crimped nylon. We troll these jigs on Cape Cod using wire line. The first time we went out we caught some nice honeys. The Stripers we catch range from 34” to 45” and weight up to 30 lbs.

    • caught this bass at Folsom Lake summer of 2009 I used a Darter Jig DTR-6-1618 with Mustad 37188 Wide Gap I like this style of jig head because you can use small plastics .I cut the barb off so it wont tear the plastic on small baits. I used a wave worm Tiki-dip smoke leach I was trowing the bait shallow and got hit. this system work good for spotted bass and smallmouth bass too.

    • Fish: King Salmon
    • Tackle: Flutter Lure
    • Every year I go to Washington state to Salmon & bottom fish. I jig for everything I catch. Recently I bought your Do-It, 4 oz. Flutter Jig mold, wires & eyes. I thought I’d save some money and try your jig for Sea Bass and Ling Cod. God! What a surprise I was in for. I could not keep the bottom fish of every kind off that jig. So we used them on King Salmon in Aug. 2010. We killed the fish from 8 lb. to 25 +. The jigs I normally use cost .00 to .00 each and sometimes I lose up to 20 or 30 a day when fishing Black Sea Bass and Ling Cod. You can’t imagine how much I saved this year.

It was on a 1/4 oz round head jig painted chartreuse with a red glow head (we made ourselves) tipped with a silver shiner. We have caught quite a few large fish in the Green Bay waters but not this big. Should have put it on the wall but released it. It was full of next years fish. Will get a replica of it. We make all of our own jigs from the 1/32 oz to 1/4 oz, weed less and the non weed less. We love your product! Thanks

    • First, let me say thank you for all the great products you offer. I have been pouring my own heads since 1998. tapered tube heads, grub heads, football jigs, and the weedless brush jig is my staple. With that being said, I recently accomplished some lifelong goals using your products. I have made the TBF Rhode Island state team the past three years, and won the state championship this year using my brush jigs in 3/8oz with a 3/0 owner xxx round bend hook equipped with heavy stiffness fiber guards. Black/Blue flake was the skirt color that hit hard on the Connecticut river in Springfield VT, enabling me to have big bag both days, big bass both days, and win the event by over 11lbs from second place. (Pic attached) I then proceeded to fish in the TBF eastern division tournament on lake Champlain out of Plattsburgh, NY. I placed first for Rhode Island utilizing again the 3/8oz brush jig for my largemouth along windblown rip rap with scattered patches of weeds in the mix, and a 3/4oz football head jig for my smallmouth in 22' of water. (Pic attached) I now will be fishing in the TBF national championship sometime in April. Date and site to be announced.
